Maytrees B&B is conveniently situated in Woolverstone, just a few miles from Ipswich on the Shotley Peninsula in a quiet position. If you want bed and breakfast close to Ipswich or in the surrounding area we could be the ideal place for you. It is an ideal location for walking, bird watching, cycling, sailing or just relaxing. The towns and villages of Harkstead, Erwarton, Shotley, Freston, Felixstowe, Woodbridge and many more are all within a short drive. As you drive under the Orwell bridge onto the Shotley Peninsula you feel as if you leave all the stress of Ipswich behind as you enter a beautiful part of the country.

Alton Water centre is within just a few miles of Maytrees with all the water sports they offer; you will need to book early for the Alton Water Swim or Fun Run though.

We are conveniently placed for the major port town of Felixstowe; in fact you get a good view of Felixstowe docks from Shotley, not far from Woolverstone. We are also within a 60 minute drive to London Stansted airport

The guest accommodation consists of a twin room (with use of a private bathroom) or a double room with small en-suite.
